Our friend Happy recently wrote a children’s book, and it’s adorable. In the words of a local, quasi-famous 8-year old, “it taught me a lot about prepareadness.”

Driving to a snowball stand amid street flooding, Happy and Big Wanda, his rusty old pick-up truck fueled by vegetable oil, are prepared to help those in need.
The purpose of this book is to encourage children and youth to prepare for disasters with their families, teachers and friends through energy efficient methods.
Portion of proceeds will benefit our annual Haiti relief mission. Also, check back for an update regarding our education preparedness campaign as we inform and entertain children in New Orleans Public Schools following the New Year!
